Beach Volleyball World Championships TLAXCALA 2023

Big succes at Beach Volleyball World Championship

We are very proud to announce the successful delivery of one of the most complex live events ever produced by Blitz Live, the Beach Volleyball World Championships, Tlaxcala, Mexico 2023 organized by Volleyball World.

The world’s most important beach volleyball championship was set across 4 courts, 10 days with 48 teams in each of the men’s and women’s doubles competitions. Together with our local partners from Televital, we deployed on site and in our Remote Production Center more than 60 people and almost 30 cameras to produce all 216 matches of the tournament. As usual LiveU was our partner for contribution and distribution of IP signals to and from our headquarters in Bucharest

A massive set up met only by the passion and dedication of all teams, collaborators and partners involved.

We are grateful to our partners at Volleyball World, Finn Taylor and Felix von Knorring, for trusting us with the broadcast of this event and all the Beach Pro Tour around the world, and we are poised to deliver outstanding live on site and remote video production, best shots, and memorable live key moments in the future.

This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without the hard work & passion of #blitzteam, each end every member of our company, from cameramen and producers on site, to control room, logistic and administrative department at the headquarters. It was a huge set up, over 60 people involved and almost 30 cameras on site to produce all 216 matches of the tournament.

While the major 1st tier events will still be produced on site, we see a good chance that more and more Tier 2 and Tier 3 events to be produced remotely. Specifically for the Beach Volleyball World Championship we used a hybrid approach meaning that we produced the Main Court where the Final stages happend with a local OB Van while the other 3 courts were produced remotely.
